What's the difference between a knock drawer and a knock box?

A knock box is a standalone bin you tap pucks into. A knock drawer is a slim, low-profile tray that slides out to knock and pushes flush when you're done - so it takes up less bench space, keeps grounds contained, and can tuck under a grinder or beside your machine.

Will it fit under my grinder or machine?
At 62mm high it's designed to sit in tight spaces where a tall knock box won't. Check your clearance against the 315 × 208 × 62mm dimensions. You can also sit many grinders right on top.

Is it quiet?
Yes - the internal knock bar absorbs the impact of each puck rather than letting it ring through a hollow box, so morning knocks stay low-key.

How do I clean it?
Empty the grounds regularly and give it a rinse or wipe-out to keep oils from building up. Keep the timber handle dry rather than soaking it.

Does it fit all portafilter sizes?
Yes - you knock the puck out against the bar, so it works with 51mm, 54mm and 58mm portafilters alike.
